Frequently Asked Questions
-
How do I receive my gallery?
Your finished images are delivered through a private online gallery, within 2—4 weeks of your session (varies for weddings). From there, you can download your photos in full resolution, save them to your device, and print to your heart’s content.
Your gallery will remain available for two months, so I always recommend saving your images right away.
-
What if the weather isn’t ideal on the day of my session?
Weather is part of the story — moody skies, soft rain, golden pockets of light, each creates a unique atmosphere.
But if conditions are unsafe or truly prohibitive, we’ll simply reschedule. You’ll be placed on my priority list for a new date that works for you.
-
Can I bring my pets to my session?
Absolutely. Hinterwood is all about honest connection, and pets are part of the heart of a home.
Just let me know ahead of time so I can prepare.
-
Do you travel?
Yes. I’m available for sessions throughout Southwest Missouri and beyond.
Travel fees may apply depending on location, but I love photographing new landscapes and quiet, uncharted spaces.
-
What should we wear?
Wear what feels like you. Neutral or earthy tones, layered textures, and pieces you can move freely in tend to photograph beautifully.
If you’d like guidance, I’m happy to share suggestions or help you coordinate a look that fits the mood of your session. See my lookbook here.
-
What’s your editing style?
I lean into tones that feel earthy, cinematic, and timeless — skin-focused and true-to-life, without heavy filters.
Light plays a huge role, so a bright afternoon will look different from a foggy morning or golden hour. I keep colors authentic while honoring the mood of the moment.
-
What’s the payment process?
A 20% nonrefundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session (or wedding).
I accept multiple payment methods and am always happy to work with you if you need accommodations.
